FAQs

Can we use this for just a few teams, or do we need to adopt it club-wide?
You can start with as few or as many teams as you’d like. Some clubs roll it out gradually, while others implement it across all age groups. It’s scalable and flexible based on your needs.
Does this replace the need for coach training?
No — it complements it. PFI is a powerful support tool that lifts the burden of planning and gives coaches a model to learn from as they go. It also frees up DOCs to focus more on mentoring and culture rather than curriculum creation.
How is this different from what we already do?
Most teams and clubs rely on ad hoc sessions, inconsistent coaching methods, or recycled drills. PFI brings modern methodology, developmental structure, and continuity — all built to raise the floor and ceiling of your player development environment.
How much time does it take to prepare a session?
Coaches can review and prepare a session in 10 minutes or less. Everything is laid out clearly, so even a coach showing up straight from work can run a high-quality training session with confidence.
Is this app only for clubs?
No — while clubs get the most long term benefit from using our curriculum, PFI is also a powerful tool for individual coaches, schools, and community programs. Anyone who trains youth players can benefit from the structure and support it provides.
What if our club already has a curriculum?
PFI can work alongside your existing philosophy. Many clubs use it as a plug-and-play solution, while others adapt its content into their own frameworks. It’s flexible enough to support your unique coaching environment.
Do I need a coaching license to use this?
Not at all. PFI is designed to support every coach — whether you’re a DOC, a part-time coach, or a parent stepping in for the first time. The sessions are clear, practical, and built for real-world use. Our curriculum was built by coaches with UEFA AND US Soccer licensing.
Is this just a drill library?
No — PFI is a fully built, session-by-session curriculum. It goes far beyond a drill library by providing structured plans, coaching points, animations, and a spiral progression from U7 to U16. You can run it as-is or adapt it to your team’s needs.
